At the start of 2024 I made the leap to join Winner recruitment and launched the Facilities Management arm of the business. I first made the leap into my recruitment journey roughly 8 years ago after a MD of a business head hunted me from finance, back then he had faith that this would be the right industry for me, and I still hold a huge amount of respect for the trust he had in me those years ago. Since that day I have built my career and experience within the sector on my values and passion for dealing with both candidates and clients with a focus on treating them with respect and professionalism. I have successfully navigated the complexities of talent acquisition, honing my expertise in identifying, engaging, and placing high-caliber candidates across various operational roles. My deep understanding of the facilities sector, combined with my recruitment expertise, allows me to efficiently match the right talent to organisational needs.

My recruitment journey has equipped me with a broad skill set that includes end-to-end recruitment, talent pipelining, relationship management, and strategic workforce planning. I excel in sourcing talent for roles ranging from facility managers to specialised technical and operational staff, ensuring that the right mix of skills, experience, and cultural fit is delivered.

In the fast-paced and constantly evolving facilities industry, I have developed a strong ability to adapt, particularly in identifying candidates who can thrive in dynamic environments. My thorough understanding of the specific challenges and operational needs within facilities management ensures I deliver solutions that drive business success.

In additional to the day-to-day operations and enjoy championing my team and their growth. Watching consultants blossom and develop their skills has been a joy and is certainly value which I know is echoed throughout the Winner wider business.

Facilities Management has been faced with challenges certainly over the last few years and had weathered this with the ability to stay ahead of the trends and curve with new ideas and innovation along with technologies across property such as Smart Buildings and our united drive towards sustainability.

My personal passions outside of work include my love for Art and History, visiting castles and stately homes will always bring back memories of all the times I would do this with my father when I was younger. I have recently joined Ladies circle as I was inspired with their fundraising endeavours including raising money for various charities and supporting sectors of society that made need more support. Ladies circle is mainly a friendship group where people can share ideas stories and offer companionship with a friendly face. Some of our focus this year has been supporting other local groups such as offering support for adults who need more assistance with day-to-day tasks such as cooking that I often take for granted. I will be utilising my passion for events to take more active role next year within the group and raise more money for charity.
