Sprinkler Service Engineer

£40,000 to £45,000 – Sidcup (Field-Based)

Field-based (office in Orpington)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30am – 5:00pm

Contract: Permanent

Are you a skilled Sprinkler Engineer looking for your next challenge? We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected fire protection company who are looking to expand their service team with an experienced Sprinkler Service Engineer.

This is a field-based role, attending a mix of residential and commercial sites, carrying out servicing and maintenance on sprinkler systems, including wet and dry risers.

Key Responsibilities:

Service, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems (wet and dry risers)
Support Managers and wider team on-site as required
Interpret technical drawings and specifications
Produce accurate service reports, detailing faults and remedial recommendations
Communicate effectively with the office team and clients
Work in full compliance with Health & Safety standards and PPE requirements
Represent the business with professionalism and a strong customer focus

Requirements:

Proven experience in servicing residential and commercial sprinkler systems
Solid understanding of wet & dry risers
Familiarity with system changeovers and fire alarm interfaces
Strong knowledge of BS EN12845 and BS 9251 standards
Mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
